Our updated range of Web-based applications enable you to process documentation more efficiently, manage your data, retrieve relevant and timely reporting and keep track of the status of your shipments at all times.

To utilize our Web Applications you must be an existing Buckland Client and have registered with us for the various service(s).


To obtain access names and passwords to our new Client Portal, please Set Up an Account or send an e-mail to our customer support group.

AES filings on all used vehicles exported to Canada to become mandatory effective April 5

April 1st, 2014 - U.S. Customs has announced that mandatory filing of electronic export information through the Automated Export System (AES) or AESDirect for all exports of used self-propelled vehicles will begin April 5, 2014.

Port of Metro Vancouver Strike

March 20th, 2014 - Due to the truck driver’s strike at the Port of Metro Vancouver ongoing since February 26th, 2014, the movement of both Import and Export cargo has been severely affected. At the time of this bulletin there is no resolution in sight in spite of the involvement of various bodies both governmental and non-governmental. Although the terminal gates remain open, the movement of containers is drastically reduced and there are continued reports of physical violence by various parties.

February 19, 2014 - Further to the message sent to CSCB members on February 18, 2014, the CSCB has confirmed that the deployment of ATD functionality will not be July 2014. As indicated in the Gazette, the expected system availability date for voluntary submission of Advance Trade Date (ATD) is 2015.

FDA Food Facility Registration Renewal and Impact on Food Imports

April 10, 2013 - The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), signed into law on Jan. 4, 2011, enables FDA to better protect public health by strengthening the food safety system. Among many other changes, FSMA amended section 415 of the federal food, drug, and cosmetics act, which requires domestic and foreign facilities that manufacture, process, pack or hold food for human or animal consumption in the U.S. to register with FDA.
